So technically I wasn’t tagged for this, but I saw it on Perfectly Tolerable‘s blog, and it looked really fun! Go check out their post! Honestly, this was just an excuse to relive childhood memories of playing this game at sleepovers. And let’s be real – it’s a lot more fun when it’s about fictional characters and scenarios.
The Rules:
- Link back to my original post on Kyera’s Library so I can see all your answers! (Be sure to do this via pingback, I don’t get notified if you just tag my URL)
- Thank the person(s) who tagged you… show the community some love!
- Obviously, come up with your wonderful answers!
- Don’t forget to tag others to keep the tag going!
The Game:
The game is pretty simple – you put things into the different categories and then you draw a spiral with your eyes closed and count how many lines across it is. Then you count off by that number and cross things off until you have one in each category. For a more in-depth explanation of the game, check out the original post.
I mostly did things that I would actually want, but I sprinkled a few bad options in there to mix things up!
My Results:
- Genre: horror
- Love Interest: Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)
- Setting: Hogwarts
- Best Friend: Cath (Fangirl)
- Villain: Mayor Prentiss (Chaos Walking)
- Pet: Bovril (Leviathan)
- Job: librarian
- Transportation: flying
- Power: Antari (Shades of Magic)
- Trope/Twist: secret identities
- House: mansion
(This sounds like a pretty great life, to be honest.)
Book blurb:
Check out this new horror novel coming out never! By day, Margaret works as the Hogwarts librarian, alongside her best friend, Cath, and her trusty perspicacious loris, Bovril. But by night, she magically flies to her mansion in London to travel between parallel universes. Little does she know, though, that her new love interest, Mr. Darcy is also a fellow Antari! And with the evil Mayor Prentiss following her at every turn and slowly destroying everything she loves, will she ever be able to conduct her secret library business in peace?
That was lots of fun! (Even if I’m a little disappointed that I’m not best friends with Elizabeth Bennet. Oh well, you can’t have everything.) Consider yourself tagged if you’re reading this, and have fun figuring what your life would be like as a book character!
x Margaret
Yay! I am so glad you participated 😀 I love your blurb 🙂 It sounds awesome (except the horror part, I don’t do scary) and I am super jealous you get Mr. Darcy 😉

Thanks! 😄 I’d be pretty okay with living out this story, minus the horror aspect and the Mayor Prentiss bit. I also don’t do scary 😬
