Fictional Family Book Tag

Guess who’s sick again?

Yup, it’s great. And finals season is coming up too! So many reasons to be joyful!

At any rate, I got tagged by Kay Wisteria at Hammock of Books to do this tag! Thank you so much!! Go and check out their amazing blog!

This tag was lots of fun, so let’s get into it!

The Rules:

• Pick 8 books off your shelves (try to not pick just your favorites!)
• Arrange them into a random order (randomizers are good for this).
• In the order they are arranged, open them to a random page and write down the first name you see. Don’t mix up the names!
• In the last book, find the name of an animal\pet and write it down.
• Put the names in the right category.
• Tag people (spread the love) copy and paste these rules in your post, or write them out yourself.

Parent One: Inan from Children of Blood and Bone

OH DEAR. Not sure I want this. Uh honestly I have no idea what Inan would be like as a parent, BUT it probably wouldn’t be great. I don’t think our personalities would mesh very well. This could be bad on all fronts.

Parent Two: Wallace from Eliza and Her Monsters

Innnnnteresting. Honestly, I don’t remember much about Wallace’s characteristics, but I think he could be a pretty cool dad! The only problem is that I don’t see him getting along well with Inan either…not sure how that would have happened….

Sibling One: Mateo from They Both Die at the End

NICE! Mateo is such a sweetheart, I’d love to have him for a brother! We would have such a great time staying inside all the time and reading books and avoiding the world together. I accept this wholeheartedly.

Sibling Two: Kiran from Jane, Unlimited

Okay, another strange family member! Lol Kiran and I probably would have a really weird relationship where we constantly alternate between arguing nonstop and being best friends. She seems like that type of person. (And I think that’s basically the relationship she has with her sibling in the book.)

Cousin: Emma Woodhouse from Emma

Oh this is AWESOME! Emma would be the coolest cousin ever. She’d be close enough that I’d get to hang out with her and hear about all the constant drama (lol) but not too close when she gets annoying. I’m totally on board with this!

Boyfriend: Ronan from The Raven King

LOL this would not work on so many levels. I can’t even think of a possible scenario in which this would happen. Sorry, Ronan, but I don’t want to date you probably as much as you don’t want to date me. (I still love you, though.)

Best Friend: Kell from A Gathering of Shadows

SWEET!! Does this mean I get to tag along with Kell when he travels between parallel Londons?? Because I’m 100% down for that! (Shh, don’t tell me that’s impossible.) I would love to be best friends with Kell, and he probably could use some more supportive friends in his life.

Pet: Luna’s lion hat in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Uhhh this is the first “animal” I could find, so does this count?? I say yes. Because this would be objectively awesome to have. Can you imagine all the strange looks you’d get just wearing it around?? I would truly enjoy every second of this.
