I’ve read a lot of amazing books in 2018. Which means I haven’t been stingy with giving out five star ratings! Many of these books have reviews along with them, which I have linked below. So here they are: all of the books that I read in 2018 and rated 5 stars. (So far – I still have a week left of the year to discover a new favorite!)

  1. Great post!

What an excellent selection of books!

I haven’t read any of these yet, but there’s a few our your list I hope to read in 2019. Love, Simon, and What If It’s Us are books I hope to read in 2019.

I did see Dear Evan Hansen off-broadway before it was on Broadway though. Such an excellent show.

My favorite book read of 2018 was YOU by Caroline Kepnes.

Currently reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han.

      1. Thanks =).

Yeah I knew about that musical for about a year before it played off-broadway. I’m glad I saw it then. I knew it was a great show, but you never know what will catch on and it was such a hard ticket to get when it came to Broadway, so I’m glad I saw it when I did.

YOU is such a great thriller. Definite recommend if you like that genre. There’s also a sequel to it. I just finished reading that a little while ago. The first season was just adapted for Lifetime. It was perfectly adapted. It was recently announced that the series will be transferring to Netflix for Season 2.

      2. Yeah, YOU was on Lifetime and the season ended not too long ago. I heard season 1 was put up on Netflix a day ago, I think. Season 2 is just going to be on Netflix instead of Lifetime. It was so well adapted, definite recommend of both book and show!

That’s so great you got to see DEH on Broadway! I hope I can see it again one day, such a wonderful show. I heard that there’s a movie adaptation in the works!

  2. can we just agree that the raven cycle is everything and GANSEY is so precious!?! who’s your favourite character from the series?? And I want to read SOOO many of these but I just want to hug Radio Silence forever – it was so good and relatable and beautiful and full of All the feels. Gah, this is an awesome list!
